Caffeine anhydrous - a more potent, concentrated form of caffeine. Caffeine is responsible for stimulating the CNS (central nervous system). It inhibits a chemical called adenosine which makes you sleepy, thus making you more awake. 200 mg is the equivalent of approximately two cups of coffee.

Theobromine - is an alkaloid that is also a stimulant and works somewhat similarly to caffeine in the body. It is the chemical in chocolate responsible for the ‘feel-good effect. As well as boosting energy levels and mood, it has also been shown to improve blood flow.

Caffeine citrate - a form of caffeine bonded to citric acid. This is the fastest-acting form of caffeine and hits very fast to provide an almost immediate sense of urgency and wakefulness. It has also been shown to help open airways, leading to improved oxygen uptake.

Di caffeine malate - a form of caffeine bonded to malic acid. This is the slowest acting form of caffeine and will drip feed into the body over a longer period of time, providing prolonged energy and offsetting any potential ‘crash’.

L-citrulline - is arguably the most effective and most used pump ingredient on the market. It is the precursor to l-arginine, an amino acid responsible for increasing NO (nitric oxide) production in the body (vasodilation). This leads to widened blood vessels which in turn increases blood flow, nutrient delivery, and ultimately… nasty pumps. The typical dose of l-citrulline is 4g, The Daily Driver has a whopping 8g to ensure maximum results.

L-taurine - somewhat of a ‘jack of all trades’ amino acid. Responsible for improved energy production within the body, cognitive function and arguably most notably, its cellular hydration benefits. One of the keys to a good pump (and workout) is to be adequately hydrated. The typical dose of l-Taurine is 1g, The Daily Driver has 1.5g.

Pink Himalayan salt - a more nutrient-dense form of regular salt responsible for hydration of the body (sodium). This in turn prevents muscle cramps and improves muscular contractions. There is no ‘recommended dose’ of pink Himalayan salt but The Daily Driver packs a nice 300 mg amount.

AmentoPump - a branded ingredient that is an extract from the selaginella tamariscina plant, which contains amentoflavone. AmentoPump is an incredibly potent and multifunctional ingredient. It has been shown to improve vasodilation, increase strength and power output, enhance fat loss and improve mood/focus. The typical dose of AmentoPump is 100 mg, The Daily Driver has 200 mg.

L-tyrosine - is an amino acid that helps the body produce neurotransmitters that improve nerve cell communication. L-tyrosine is particularly important in the production of epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine. These are all chemicals in the brain responsible for reward-related behavior, motivation, concentration, clarity, mood, and sense of urgency (adrenaline). The typical dose of l-tyrosine is 1g, The Daily Driver has 2g.

Alpha GPC - the best-known form of a choline donor. It increases the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and facilitates learning and memory. In athletes, Alpha-GPC supplementation prevents exercise-induced reductions in choline levels, increases endurance performance and growth hormone secretion. The typical dose of alpha GPC is 300 mg-600mg. The Daily Driver has a marking leading 1g.

Rhodolia rosea - an ‘adaptogen’ that is used for increasing energy, stamina, strength, and mental capacity, to help the body adapt to and resist physical, chemical, and environmental stress. The recommended dose is 100mg-170mg for an extract standardisation for 3% rosavin. The Daily Driver has 200mg.

Huperzine A - an extract from the huperzia serreta plant. Huperzine A acts as a cholinesterase inhibitor, which works by improving the levels of neurotransmitters in the brain. It has been shown to improve memory and protect nerve cells. It also works great in synergy with alpha GPC by amplifying and prolonging its effects in the brain. The typical dose for huperzine A is 50mcg-200mcg, The Daily Driver has 300mcg.

Beta-alanine - an amino acid responsible for enhancing performance by increasing exercise capacity and decreasing muscle fatigue once the saturation point has been reached. It also has antioxidant, immune-enhancing and anti-aging properties. It is famously known for eliciting certain neurons responsible for initiating itching and tingling of the skin - this sensation is referred to as paresthesia. The typical dose of beta-alanine is 3.2g, The Daily Driver has 4g.

Betaine anhydrous - also called trimethylglycine, has been shown to improve hydration, stimulate water-based pumps, improve power, and support protein synthesis. It's often compared to creatine for it benefits. The typical dose of betaine anhydrous is 2g-2.5g, The Daily Driver has 3g.

Creatine HCL - a hydrochloric form of creatine that is faster acting and therefore requires no ‘loading phase’. Studies have shown it to be absorbed around 60% more effective in the body than standard creatine monohydrate, which can often cause stomach cramps and water retention (not the good kind). Creatine is the most studied supplement and for good reason - creatine supplementation increases your body's stores of phosphocreatine, which is used to produce new ATP during high-intensity exercise. Put simply, creatine improves power output, recovery and lean body mass. The typical dose of creatine HCL is 750mg to 1.5g, The Daily Driver has 1.5g (equivalent to a 3g-5g serving of creatine monohydrate) so you will not need to top up with a separate creatine supplement.
